While in the Paradise area of Mount Rainier NP we were hoping for wildflowers to still be in their glory, that was not the case. Nature managed to grant us a wonder view nonetheless.
Paradise is the name of an area at approximately 5,400 feet (1,600 m) on the south slope of Mount Rainier in Mount Rainier National Park in Washington, United States. The area lies on the border of Pierce and Lewis counties and includes the Paradise Valley and the Paradise Glacierwhich is the source of the Paradise River.[1] Virinda Longmire named Paradise in the summer of 1885 while she viewed the wildflowers in the alpine meadows there.[2][3] Paradise also offers views of Mount Rainier and the Tatoosh Range.”

Hello
We are George and Pattie Walsh. We are a husband and wife wildlife and landscape photography team for the last 15 years. We have a passion for all things nature and love to share it with others. Whether we share a glimpse into our travels around the world through still images and videos or with an exciting photo tour and workshop, our goal is to give a moment of awe and wonder at the beauty of nature. Hopefully to offer the opportunity to capture a piece of that moment and share it with others.
So, please, join us… online or in person. We look forward to sharing the experiences with you.
