Kaleidoscope

Somewhere between Aspen and Telluride Colorado the darker colors of fall began to show. We really like to contrast between the colors and the white bark of these aspen trees.

Remote

Colorado isn’t really know for waterfalls, but the falls you can find are truly spectacular. This waterfall is not found on any map. There is waterfall nearby that is referenced on several websites and even on google maps, but this one is a little more remote.

Mystical

This water fall in Colorado is a challenge to reach. This shot was obtained using a drone because conditions prohibited us from completing the difficult hike.

Emerald Crystal

Commonly called The Crystal Mill or Old Mill, it is not a mill at all. This structure and dam that once spanned the river was a hydroelectric power plant for mining operations in the 1890’s. Today it is just a remote attraction that hikers and off-roaders like to visit.

The Mill

Truly an icon of Colorado, the Crystal Mill stands the test of time. Many visitors make donations so the mill can receive annual maintance. With out those donations, this amazing structure would decay due to the harsh winter conditions.
